A Great Way to Say "Thank You"!Since my husband is Army, we often receive inspiring emails related to soldiers from our friends and family. I'm always touched by all the organizations out there that think of our fellow soldiers.
I thought this site was terrific! It's a great way to thank our deployed service men and women who serve our country. It takes only minutes on your computer, and is FREE! Here's a quote from a soldier receiving a card I found on their website:
"I just received a postcard from Nicole in South Carolina. I just wanted to return the gratitude and appreciation on a personal level not only to Nicole, but to all the men and women that put together “Let's Say Thanks.” Sometimes it's difficult to get up in the morning and put on the uniform, but receiving things like this reminds us why we serve. I appreciate Nicole and those for taking the time to send strangers a reminder of not only what we're fighting for, but also who we're fighting for. THANK YOU!" An Air Force Sergeant Visit: www.LetsSayThanks.com, the postcards, depicting patriotic scenes and hometown images, were selected from a pool of entries from children across the country. (They are thank you cards, not holiday cards so they can be sent year round.)
All you have to do is click on your favorite design and either select the message that best expresses your sentiment or draft a personal note. The postcards are then printed on the Xerox iGen3® Digital Production Press and mailed in care packages by military support organization Give2TheTroops®.
Xerox is committed to helping people across the nation express their gratitude to our troops overseas. The launch of this program is aimed at reminding them how much Americans appreciate their service.
